Wipler wants the Prime Minister to apologize. This is about the charges against Zondacrypto

Prime Minister Donald Tusk before the government gathering called for the rejection of president Charles Nawrocki's veto against the cryptocurrency bill, which was re-signed. The task included, among another things, greater powers for the Financial Supervision Authority to hold back bids on the virtual currency marketplace in order to prevent abuse. The head of government argued that swift adoption of the rules was necessary, and delays could favour selected actors. He besides estimated that the blocking of the bill would be in the interests of the state and citizens, pointing to links between PiS, Confederacy, presidential environment and lobbyists.

The Prime Minister referred to the ABW memo, according to which Zondacrypto was to be associated with the PiS and Confederacy environments. He pointed out that in the autumn of 2025 its president Przemysław Kral donated crucial funds for foundations related to politicians — around PLN 450,000 to entities associated with Zbigniew Ziobro, and part of the money was to be paid for lawyers for Dariusz Matecki and Fr Michał Olszewski.

In addition, 70 000 euro was to fund the “Good Government” of Mr Przemysław Wipler. The Prime Minister besides pointed out that the company sponsored last year's CPAC conference in Jasionka, which included Andrzej Duda and Karol Nawrocki.

Wipler's not the only 1 who wants an apology.

Przemysław Wipler rejected Donald Tusk's proposition that his foundation had a relation with the veto of the crypto-activism bill, recognizing them as unfounded and acquittal to his reputation. He assured that he had neither participated in talks with the President's Chancellery nor in the draft legislation, and demanded an apology, otherwise announcing legal steps.

The lawyer Krzysztof Wąsowski besides denied that the defence of Fr Michał Olszewski was financed by entities associated with cryptocurrency or politics. He stressed that only the spiritual household was liable for the costs, and another defenders did not usage specified measures. He demanded that the Prime Minister correct his statements, threatening with legal consequences.

Zondacrypto problems

According to Money.pl and Virtual Poland, Zondacrypto can face serious financial problems. Analysis indicates a decrease in bitcoin reserves by as much as 99%. There are besides signals from users about the difficulty of paying out funds, and any sponsored sports clubs have not received due money for a long time. At the same time, over PLN 76 million was to be transferred from the stock exchange to another entity. The government stresses that president Karol Nawrocki twice vetoed the Act on the regulation of the crypto-activism market.

The D.A. is presently investigating whether Zondacrypto could have taken over client funds. According to the Public Prosecutor's Office Przemysław Nowak, the investigation has late been initiated, and its detailed direction will inactive be established. For now, it is unclear how many people may have suffered losses.

At the same time, it was recalled that erstwhile cryptocurrency marketplace procedures frequently resulted in write-off due to a deficiency of criminal record. 1 of them interviewed about 1500 people, including authors of critical online entries, not necessarily investors. These activities were described as ineffective.
