The Military Institute of Aviation medicine (WIML) is simply a investigation and medical certification institution that is unique in Poland and highly regarded worldwide. For nearly a century, the Institute has been ensuring the safety of flight personnel by combining medicine, psychology, and modern engineering technologies. We spoke with Col. Grzegorz Kade, M.D., Ph.D., prof. at the University of Warsaw, and manager of WIML, about the Institute’s history, current activities, and plans for the future.
