Trump's gonna ruin relations with Poland? Latest poll

Nearly half of Poles foretell a worsening of relations with the US during Donald Trump's term, according to the latest UCE investigation poll for Onetu. Concerns about the future of Polish-American relations are most frequently expressed by supporters of the 3rd Way and Left, and political sympathy importantly influences the assessment of the situation.


46.9% of respondents believe that Poland's relations with the US will deteriorate during Donald Trump's starting word as president of the United States in January - according to a poll of the ACE investigation studio commissioned by Onetu. The other opinion is 30.1% of respondents.

The poll results were published on Thursday by Onet.pl portal. As we read, participants of the UCE investigation survey were asked whether they thought Poland's relations with the US would deteriorate in the current word of Donald Trump.

46.9% of respondents replied to the question, of which 17.5% "decisiveness" and 29.4% of respondents. The other opinion is 30.1% of respondents - 24.1% think that Polish-American relations "are not going to get worse" and 6 percent think that "agreement" is not going to get worse. 23 percent of respondents answered "I don't know"

The portal indicates that responses vary according to the political preferences of respondents. "Most frequently about the deterioration of Poland's relation with the US was said by supporters of the 3rd Road (64.6 percent of them) and the Left (61.7% of them). little often, the sympathizers of Law and Justice (48.9% of them), the Civic Coalition (46.4% of them) and the Confederation (42.5 percent of them) are of this opinion" - notes Onet.

According to Onet, the survey was conducted on 22-24 March 2025 utilizing the CAWI method (interviews conducted online) by the UCE investigation studio for Onet portal on a example of 1008 Poles aged 18-80.(PAP)
