The Polish Air Navigation Agency is at the unexpected centre of global legal dispute. However, its function goes far beyond civilian aviation. The PPA operates close civil-military cooperation, including through the concept of flexible usage of airspace. In conditions of advanced military activity on the east NATO flank – including the presence of allied fighters in the framework of the Air Police mission, east Sentra operation and intensive logistical support for Ukraine – the reliable functioning of the agency is of direct importance to the Alliance's security.
