More than 72% of respondents believe that the issue of spending money from the National Recovery Plan will negatively affect the government of Donald Tusk.
Among the sympathizers of today's power, half sees the threat to government listings, while in the opposition group this percent is much higher.

"Can the scandal of spending money with KPO harm Government Donald Tusk?” – specified a question was given to the IBRiS survey for “Rzeczpospolita”.
72.9 percent. believes that the scandal will have a negative impact on the ranking of the Council of Ministers. The other opinion 22.7 percent. In turn, 4.4 percent of respondents chose the option "difficult to say".
Is the KPO going to hurt the government? Clear poll results
IBRiS drew up a separate ranking, dividing the respondents into supporters and opponents of the ruling Coalition 15 October.
More than half of the supporters of the power camp (53.9%) believes that the scandal with the National Recovery Plan will harm the Council of Ministers. In this group the other opinion is 39.8% of respondents, and 6.3% chose the answer "difficult to say".
Among the opposition supporters (PiS, Confederacy, Confederation of the Polish Crown, Together) 92.5 percent. believes that the KPO scandal will harm the Tusk government. 7.5 percent say the opposite.
– Public opinion is delicate to symbols. Just like the Poles made the impression of octopus, so now yachts do. The CATI survey was carried out on 13-14 August 2025 by IBRiS. The survey was conducted on a group of 1067 respondents.

The National Recovery Plan aims to support the recovery of the EU associate States' economy after the pandemic. The plan focuses on investments and reforms in key areas specified as green energy, digitalisation and innovation. However, it turned out that funds from the package of the hotel and catering manufacture were used, among others. to buy yachts, luxury cars or excursions.
In view of the irregularities revealed, Minister of Funds and Regional Policy Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz announced temporary suspension of withdrawals from KPO within the framework of HoReCa program. She besides announced that any transfer agreement would be thoroughly audited and that, should irregularities be detected, either the money would not be paid or, in the case of payments already made, the government would request reimbursement.
