Greek rocket artillery is based present on Czechoslovakian multi-guided RM-70 kal launchers. 122 mm of about 105 copies and 36 M270 track tracks. Both solutions are already obsolete in any respects and would be appropriate to undergo them, although any modernisation, e.g. by acquiring more modern effects. In the case of RM-70, this would increase the burden capacity from 20 km (in the case of classical 122 mm rocket ammunition) to up to 40 km. On this, however, possible improvement with the ammunition presently utilized closes. However, the Indian proposal to upgrade the Greek RM-70 to the Pinaka standard would let the mark to importantly increase the capabilities of the combat crews serving them. In the case of the fire scope itself, we are talking about improving this parameter to 60/75 and in the future 90/120 km (more rockets utilized than before). However, this involves changing the caliber of the launcher, as well as rocket missiles to these kals. 214 mm.
