Does the BRICS summit in Kazan turn the world's order upside down?

Antoine, pass the brick!... Antoine, we're building a house!

This happy song reminded me after the conclusion of the BRICS summit in Kazan. For those who do not talk English: BRICS is besides an English word for ‘bricks’.

More and more countries are planning to join this fresh planet home. Unfortunately, “our” media either stay silent about this or lie about it. Unlike them, the West showed large interest in the summit. As at the very beginning of his (very interesting!) press conference, said Putin's advisor Anton Kobjakaw, summit servers were constantly attacked by hackers.

Thierry Meyssan published a fresh article in which he is as usual very thorough in analyzing the results of the summit. Here he is.

In Sermon the order of the planet was turned upside down

author: Thierry Meyssan

The BRICS summit in Kazan started the end of G7 dominance over the world. The Anglo-Saxon principles that regulated global relations will gradually be replaced by commitments made by all parties, which will now should be respected. This revolution moves us back to the attempts to establish global law taken by Russia and France in 1899, which were thwarted by the Atlantic Conference and the duality of the United States and large Britain.

The XVI Summit of the Extended BRICS was held in Kazan (Russia) on 22-24 October 2024 [1]. In addition to the 9 Heads of State and Government who are already members of the organisation, eleven others participated in it, and around 20 more countries applied for membership.

This event culminates in a strategy initiated in 2009 by Brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Chinese president Hu Jintao. These 4 politicians have planned global relations based on the United Nations Charter that would let any country to develop. For them it was not a question of opposing Western imperialism G8 (whose Russia was a associate until the Western coup on Majdan), but of discovering another way, without the Anglo-Saxons.

Vladimir Putin played a key function in the creation of this economical cooperation body, as did Tsar Nicholas II played a function in the invention of global law in 1899 [2]. He was the 1 who organized the first summit in Yekaterinburg, although president Dmitri Medwiedev represented Russia.

In an interview on the occasion of the summit in Kazan Vladimir Putin, quoting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he confirmed that "BRICS are not an anti-Western but not Western organization".

In the final declaration, the Heads of State and Government addressed 4 separate issues [3]:

1. Multilateralism;
2. Cooperation for stableness and security;
3. economical and financial cooperation;
4. Interhuman exchange.

After uncovering that no substance what Western centres of power, fresh centres emerge. They confirmed their commitment to the United Nations Charter, in which they all participated, but for the United arabian Emirates, which were not yet independent. They then called for reforming the UN and its agencies so that its institutions could adapt to the present planet and integrate fresh powers. Although the date of the improvement of the safety Council and the IMF was not specified, the mark date was set at 2025 for the improvement of the planet Trade Organisation (WTO) and the Board of Directors of the global Bank for Reconstruction and improvement (IBRD).

They describe "unilateral coercion measures", i.e. "sanctions", both political and economic, taken outside the safety Council as "illegal".

They support the work of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), but do not comment on the conclusions drawn by the Western countries. They express their deep concern at the attempts to link safety to the climate change agenda. They further condemn the usage of the climate pretext to impose unilateral, criminal and discriminatory protectionist measures. They besides support cooperation in the fight against greenhouse gases, in accordance with Article 6 of the Paris Agreements (§ 85). The Russian Academy of Sciences rejects the western anthropocentric explanation of climate change.

They undertake to advance and defend human rights, including the right to development, and fundamental freedoms within the framework of the principles of equality and common respect. They are besides committed to intensifying the fight against racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerances, as well as discrimination on the grounds of religion, religion or belief, and all their contemporary forms in the world, including alarming tendencies to intensify hatred speech.

Cooperation for stableness and security

They agreed on a common position on current conflicts, referring to safety Council Resolution 2686 (2023) (which condemns intolerance and hatred speech) and UN General Assembly Resolution 46/182 (1991) (on emergency humanitarian aid). They besides reiterate the request to respect legitimate and reasonable concerns about the safety of all countries.

Below is simply a long list of posts.

– Gaza (§ 30)

They item the urgent request for an immediate, comprehensive and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages and prisoners of both parties who are illegally detained, and the provision of large-scale and sustainable humanitarian assistance, as well as the cessation of all acts of aggression. However, they support the two-state solution (originally Lord Peel's colonial plan) as the only possible peaceful solution.

— Lebanon (§ 31-32)

They condemn “a premeditated terrorist act” by detonating bipers and radios on 17 September 2024. Similarly, they condemn attacks on UN personnel and threats to their safety and call on the judaic state to immediately halt specified activities in Lebanon. They call for strict compliance with Resolution 1701 (2006), assuming that it besides applies to Israel, which must so retreat for the "blue line" (demarkation line).

– Yemen (§ 33)

They advocate freedom of navigation, but alternatively of, like the West, condemning Ansar Allah, they intend to address the causes of the conflict and support dialog and the peace process under the auspices of the UN.

– Syria (§ 34)

They stress that Syrian sovereignty and territorial integrity must be strictly respected. They condemn the illegal presence of abroad troops, which increases the hazard of large-scale conflict in the region. They stress that illegal "unilateral sanctions" seriously exacerbate the suffering of Syrians. They besides testified (§ 43) against the Israeli business of Syrian Golan.

– Iran (§ 35 and 37)

They condemned the attack on the diplomatic mission of the muslim Republic of Iran in Damascus. They pointed out that the JCPOA agreement was approved by the safety Council and that the United States could not retreat from it.

— Ukraine (§ 36)

They stress that all countries should act in accordance with the objectives and principles of the United Nations Charter (which supports the Russian explanation of the conflict). They are pleased to note appropriate proposals for mediation and good services (China, South Africa and India) to resolve the conflict peacefully through dialog and diplomacy.

— Sudan (§ 40)

They condemn president Abdel Fattah al-Burhan's military attack on the residence of the Head of Mission of the United arabian Emirates Embassy on 29 September 2024, an attack comparable to Israel's attack on Iranian diplomatic facilities in Syria. They call for an immediate, permanent and unconditional ceasefire.

– Afghanistan (§ 42)

They keep the rule of an independent, united and peaceful state, free from terrorism, war and drugs. They stress the request to supply urgent and uninterrupted humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people and to defend the fundamental rights of all Afghans, including women, girls and various cultural groups, which means the abolition of actual bans on secondary and higher education.

– Disarmament (§ 43-46)

They supported the acceleration of the implementation of the resolution on the establishment of a atomic weapons-free region and another weapons of mass demolition in the mediate East (i.e. the denuclearisation of Israel), as proposed by Iran.

They besides advocate, despite the United States' opposition, for preventing an arms race in space.

– Terrorism (§ 47-49)

They reject any effort to politicise the fight against terrorism and the usage of terrorist groups to accomplish political objectives and stress that only BRICS are effective organisations in this area – a direct mention to the secret operations of the United States and the United Kingdom. They called for the swift adoption of the Comprehensive Convention on global Terrorism within the United Nations.

– global crime (§ 50-53)

Under Russia's leadership, BRICS deals with drugs, global crime and corruption by strengthening a coordinated consequence from law enforcement authorities.

Economic and financial cooperation

The BRICS first consider the request to make a clearing home to exchange funds (without having to usage the SWIFT strategy created by NATO structures as a stay-behind) and a reinsurance strategy to safe the transport of goods (without having to usage Anglo-Saxon companies or companies indirectly controlled by them).

They approach trade not through free trade or customs, but through security, stableness and efficiency of supply chains. A year ago, they created a programme aimed at harmonising and coordinating the usage of IT (PartNER) in the economy and trade.

In the fight against BRICS diseases, while welcoming the work of the planet wellness Organisation (WHO), they make their own alert and common assistance system.

With respect to intellectual property, BRICS are aware that copyright and another patents are presently the main origin of Anglo-Saxon income (not their actual or financial production). BRICS intend to reconstruct this strategy to the right track, focusing on the fight against counterfeiting alternatively than expanding its income. They intend to intensify cooperation in research, improvement and innovation programmes in biomedicine, renewable energy, space and astronomical sciences, oceanography and polar sciences.

Interhuman exchange

The main nonsubjective of BRICS is to fight the Anglo-Saxon ideology of the "war of civilization" [4] by relying on 2 UN agencies, UNICEF and the Alliance of Civilization. They want to increase inter-human exchanges in the fields of media, culture, education, sport, art, youth, civilian society, public diplomacy and university exchange.

BRICS opposes the return to the past: the concept of the war of civilization, which was an essential part of president George Bush Junior's speech, seemed to be forgotten for good. It returns to fashion with the candidacy of Kamala Harris, supported by neoconservatives. It is nothing little than a supposedly learned form of old, brutal discourse from 1930 to 1945: to survive, Westerners have no choice but to destruct others.

Comments on this summit

This summit took place at a time erstwhile the planet witnessed Israeli cultural cleansing, first in Gaza and then in confederate Lebanon. At the same time, a peculiar Russian military operation aimed at implementing safety Council Resolution 2202 (Minsk Agreements) in Ukraine turns to the benefit of Moscow. The Ukrainian army will not last winter, and the western “unilateral means of coercion” failed. Unfortunately, from the point of view of the "war of civilization", the Arabs in Gaza and the Russians in Ukraine endanger the West and must be eliminated.

Participation in BRICS so seems to be a rebellion against the Anglo-Saxon order of the world. Therefore, we can only be disappointed by the withdrawal of the president of Brazil, Louis Inácio Lula da Silva, who did not dare to come to Kazan and was represented by his abroad minister, Mauro Vieira. Brazil is simply a founding associate of BRICS. However, it is actual that Brazil is active due to the fact that it holds the Presidency of the fresh improvement Bank. The second is chaired by erstwhile president Dilma Youssef, who was overthrown as a consequence of an operation arranged by the United States and Israel.

The same should be noted with respect to the refusal of Saudi Arabia prince Mohammed bin Salman to stand on the side of any of the camps at the last minute and go to Kazan, even though his chief ally, the United arabian Emirates, is now a associate of BRICS and their president, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, was present.

Russia has decided to hold a summit in Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, as this dynamic city illustrates both Muslim integration with the Russian Federation and Moscow's ability to decentralize its powers.

At the economical level, the summit has made advancement in depolarising global trade. BRICS is moving towards the digital currency standard. There was besides talk of a common taxation authority, a court to settle economical disputes between associate States, and the thought of a grain exchange. It is besides possible to establish an independent infrastructure for cross-border payments and deposits, ‘BRICS Clear’. Finally, BRICS is making advancement in the improvement of a payment card strategy called "BRICS Pay", presented at the Kazan Summit. The BRICS Pay Card should let payments in national currency utilizing QR code to burden an electronic wallet powered by an electronic application by loading an electronic wallet loaded via an application of the same name and attaching a Visa, MasterCard or Mir bank card. The problem is how to keep full independency while participating in collective currency.

First of all, the summit showed, at political level, in the presence of UN Secretary-General António Guterres, that BRICS reject the variable Western principles, determined by the G7 on the basis of individual treatment of partners and like to keep their word, i.e. global law. The countries of the “global South” (as opposed to the “collective West”) are well aware of the commitments and treaties signed by the Anglo-Saxons and shamelessly broken by them. Westerners believe that, in the name of democracy, the elected head of state or government may not feel bound by the signatures of those who preceded it, while another states, whether it is non-liberal or dictatorial in their eyes, are obliged to do so. For example, Donald Trump abandoned JCPOA (Iran atomic Deal), which his predecessor, Barack Obama, had long negotiated. Either Joe Biden is not considered to be bound by 2 papers signed by his friend Barack Obama, or by the Istanbul Agreement (1999 [5]), or by Resolution 2202 (2015) on Minsk Agreements. He so claims that Russia invaded Ukraine and violates the United Nations Charter, while many later texts show that Russia is the only country that adheres to all its rules of accord.

The IMF has just revised its calculation methods and placed Russia's GDP according to purchasing power parity in 4th place behind China, the United States and India. Thus, it abruptly increased by 23% and left the 48th place where it was located. However, beyond the economical realities (BRICS represent 37% of global GDP and 45% of humanity, while G7 represents only 29% of GDP and 10% of the planet population), this summit opened the eyes of many people with visual impairment. The planet turned upside down. It is no longer dominated by Washington and London.

* * Oh, * *

Can the BRICS countries be optimistic about the future? surely not! The West inactive has large opportunities to "poison" their lives. He besides has many 100 years of experience in destabilization and conflicting states and nations. But on the costly side, awareness of this fact is becoming more common, these processes and these trials are being seen, and remedies are being taken. The very emergence of BRICS is evidence of this. Unfortunately, the vast majority of our society is inactive blind and faithful to the West. It is truly amazing that societies that were much little affected by the perfidaity of Western activities could see through, and we are inactive fed and threatened by Yalta! But there was more than Stalin in Yalta! Those who have sold us are worshiped, and the gifted, who, in addition, have set us and forced us to have a beautiful good limit, is demonized. Of course, I'm not going to whitewash Stalin, and I don't approve of his crimes, but I mean, I don't know how to justice both sides.

Cooperation within BRICS is besides not easy. It is widely said that 1 of the priorities of the BRICS states is to decision distant from dollar settlements. There are many rumors about the proposed currencies and settlement systems. But that's not the main problem. The problem is the unbalanced trade balance. While it is almost even between China and Russia, it is no longer between Russia and India. India is an intermediary for selling Russian oil (mainly for the US), for which Russia accepts payment in rupees. He sits on a immense number of them and frankly I do not know what he can do with them. In dollar settlements, this problem does not exist. Nowhere have I come up with any sensible proposal to solve this problem, and without this, it is improbable that any functioning way of interstate settlement will be introduced.

Like me, Meyssan sees that the only option of the West is to destruct those who may pose a real threat. There's quite a few talk about peace talks, but it's just a distraction! Further escalation of war and fresh wars can be expected. Unlike Meyssan, however, I would not be so certain that the Ukrainian army will not last winter. The mobilisation of 18-year-olds and women is already beginning – what has been prohibited so far. Just wait until the West forces the mobilisation (actually "mogilization") of Ukrainians on emigration.

More and more countries intend to join the BRICS Group. However, I believe that the process of enlargement will slow down for now. The founding countries have adequate unresolved problems in their relations. They request to kind them out first, then they can think about expanding the number of members. The acceptance criteria will surely besides be tightened. Turkey found that painfully. At the press conference mentioned above, Kobjakov said, referring to Turkey's membership of NATO and his desire to join the European Union, that it is impossible to dance at the same time at respective weddings. He besides added with a snack: ‘При этом условии Турции точно найдется если если только не будет карту карту Османской империи, на которой, например, фигурирует и город город Казань” “On this condition, Turkey will surely find a place to print maps of the Ottoman Empire on which, for example, the city of Kazan is located. Not only Russia with a reluctant eye and suspiciously looks at Turkey. China is besides reluctant to do so, as Turkey considers the Uighurs to be its "own" people and how it may savor them on China.

Membership in BRICS and cooperation with East and South would be our country's only chance of development!! Unfortunately, we have already got besides deep into the swamp (or alternatively the cloacies) of NATO and the European Union to get out on our own. But the worst part is that we do not see it at all and do not realize the situation in which our country is in. We inactive think crap is chocolate...
