The project, which late went to the Sejm, has caused large controversy. It is an global agreement between Poland and India under which the citizens of this country would gain the right to pension on the Vistula River. The ratification of the agreement is opposed, among others, to Confederate Members. "Polish pensions for Ukrainians are not enough. Polish pensions for the Hindus will shortly be available" – the vice-president of the parliamentary club of this organization in the Sejm, Michał Wawer, thunders.

The Sejm received a draft ratification of the agreement between Poland and India. If it is concluded, Hindus who legally work in Poland will be entitled to pension benefits from ZUS.

Are the Indians going to retire? "All he has to do is work in Poland, for example, 1 year and the another 24 years in India"

"When the Sejm passes printing 1173, the mechanics will be simple: if only a citizen of India (a) lives in Poland, (b) reaches the Polish retirement age, (c) pays in Poland even 1 pension contribution and (d) reaches the full (Polish + Indian) required contribution period (25 years for men), then Polish law will warrant him the Polish minimum pension. Even if he worked only a year in Poland from these 25 years and the remaining 24 years in India, then the Polish Social safety Office will look mercifully at his modest Indian retirement and pay him generously adequate to receive a Polish minimum pension," writes Michał Wawer, vice-president of the Confederate parliamentary club in the Sejm.

He added that more and more Indian citizens could come to Poland all year and that in the future, erstwhile they receive the right to retire, they would become a dense burden for ZUS. Wawer even called it “a bomb to the future of the pension system”.

"Let the cherry on the cake be a fragment of the justification for printing 1173, in which the Tusk government praises the Polish-Indian agreement as an "additional motivation to work in Poland" by Indian citizens. The government clearly believes that we have far besides fewer Indian immigrants in Poland and that we request to get more of them together," concluded the Confederate MP.
