Vietnam will buy an F-16. A blow to China or... Russia?

Information on the anticipation of [Socialistic Republic of Vietnam ](https://defence24.pl/page-tagow/wietnam)American aircraft have been appearing for almost a decade. Until now, however, the most public talk has been about transport aircraft [C-130 Hercules](https://defence24.pl/page-tagow/c-130-hercules). The possible sale of these machines does not give emergence to controversy due to the fact that they are unarmed aircraft, do not contain strategically crucial method solutions and do not represent any major change in the regional power system. However, in the case of F-16 (which has been reported much little frequently in the context of Vietnam), it is rather different, especially since it may be the latest version [F-16C/D](https://defence24.pl/page-tagow/f-16) Block 70/72.
