Genowefa Jakubowska-Fijałkowska (born 1946 in Mikołów) is simply a poet. She made her debut in 1972 on "Oder". She published 10 poesy books. Sleep paralysis (2016) was included in the final 7 Literary Prize "Nike", for Carnivorous plants (2020) was awarded the Wisława Szymborska Prize and received a nomination for the Warsaw Prize, while for Vivisection (2023) was nominated for the “Nike” and the Kazimierz Hoffman Poetic Award “Kos”. In addition, in Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany, the election of her poems was published, and Radio Katowice aired 5 proceeding aids based on her works. He lives in Mikołów.

The published poem comes from a poetic book Scares, which will be published in 2026 by the Association of Polish Writers of the Branch in Łódź in cooperation with the home of Literature in Łódź.
