Minister Tomczyk's message  on the ZET Radio was a reaction to the allegations of erstwhile  MON chief Marius Błaszczak, who criticised reports of Leopard 2A5 tanks returning to Zagania. He stated in the entries on the social portal X that the current minister "went to retired generals and decided to permanently transfer Leopard tanks from the east of Poland to Żagań". According to the erstwhile  minister, this may mean "a return to the concept of defence of Poland on the Vistula line".
