France's Land Forces received a full of 406 Leclerc tanks in 3 production series (S1, S2 and SXXI) from 1992 to 2008. presently upgraded to the Leclerc F1 standard (also known as Leclerc Renové or Leclerc XLR) is expected to be 200 wagons, i.e. almost half of its own tank fleet.
