Donald Trump commented in harsh words on Britain's decision to transfer sovereignty over Diego Garcia, an island with a key U.S. military base, under Mauritius. The erstwhile president of the United States called it “shock” and “an act of large foolishness”. In his opinion, China and Russia will benefit from this weakness. London recalls that the US had previously supported this decision.
