Federica Mogherini, erstwhile Vice-President of the European Commission and erstwhile Head of EU Diplomacy (2014-2019), and now Rector of the prestigious Collège d’Europe (Colegium of Europe) in Bruges, was detained and interrogated in an investigation into possible corruption and abuse of EU funds.
