Poland has signed a peculiar memorandum with the Netherlands, which is intended to affect the approximation of both countries in the field of safety and defence. As Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak said, the agreement will cover respective circumstantial issues. This includes, among others, the intensification of joint military exercises and expanding the ability to usage state-of-the-art American equipment, which is already utilized in the Dutch armed forces, and will shortly besides be equipped with the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland (F-35, Apache helicopters and [Patriot systems](https://defence24.pl/power-arms/new-racets-for-Dutch-patriots)).
