Deputy Prime Minister on evacuation of Poles from the mediate East. "It was a very hard operation"

On Sunday late evening, the Ministry of abroad Affairs informed about the completion of evacuation of Polish citizens from the mediate East. In total, about 300 Poles from Israel and Iran returned to the country as part of the action.

— It was most likely the most efficient action in Europe. There are countries that are starting the evacuation today, that is, at the time erstwhile Poland ended it,” stated the head of MON Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference in front of the NATO summit.

Deputy Prime Minister stressed that "it was a very hard diplomatic-logistic-military operation". “These 3 areas had to be coordinated,” added the Minister of National Defence.

MFA spokesman: we urge you not to effort to leave for Israel today

During the Sunday press conference, MFA spokesperson Paweł Wroński recalled that the evacuations from Israel were planned for those people who stayed in the country briefly and informally. He explained that these were, among others, tourist reasons.

— There were besides cases that individual went there to take care of someone. Or those who were stuck in Israel due to the fact that they were going to go to another country. These people are in a hard situation due to the fact that they have nowhere to go," he said.

The MFA spokesperson besides reiterated his appeal not to effort to leave for Israel today. “ I regret to say that any people, unfortunately from the journalistic community, began to ask me how the easiest way to get to Israel is now,” said Wronski.
