Zapad-2025 military maneuvers are underway in Belarus and Russia, and according to Belarus expert Krzysztof Fedorovich, they may accomplish multiple goals at once. At issue is not only maintaining the combat capability of the troops, but the political goals of Moscow and Minsk, specified as maintaining an atmosphere of fear in Belarusian society and diverting European attention from the elections in Moldova.
