thefad.pl 2 months ago

"The Polish peasant had more freedom than the Polish citizen" – so Jacek Hoga, president of the Ad Arma Foundation, describes restrictions on access to arms in Poland. As the “chief military advisor” of Sławomir Mentzen, a Confederate presidential candidate in the 2025 election, Hoga is simply a hot emotion. His extremist views on weapons, women's roles and geopolitics share public opinion. Who is this father of eleven children who can influence Poland's defence policy? How do the Confederate leaders feel about his controversial opinions?

Ad Arma Foundation and the right to arms

Jacek Hoga founded the Ad Arma Foundation in 2015, the goal of which is to liberalise the right to have weapons. As we read on the Foundation's website, its mission is to "restore freedom for Poles in the key field – the defence of life". Hoga believes that the right to arms is an integral part of the right to life, and the current regulations are the relic of the PRL. According to the portal OKO.press, the foundation cooperates with utmost right-wing environments, including the National Movement, the Republican organization and Janusz Korwin-Mikke's parties.

In an interview with Radio, Maria Hoga stated that "even the Russian Federation government trusts its citizens more" in the issue of arms than the Polish authorities. The Ad Arma Foundation prepared in 2022 a draft amendment of the Arms Act for the Republican Party, assuming crucial relaxation of regulations. In an interview with “To the Thing” in 2019, Hoga argued that “the right to arms derives from the right to life” and a greater number of weapons in the hands of citizens reduces crime.

Social views: Conservativeism and controversy

"It's making ladies out of women's boys. I don't know how this female is expected to be ready to have five, six kids."

Hoga, the father of eleven children, promotes multi-children as a patriotic duty. In his book Children and Arms (2019), which Mentzen wrote, he combines the thought of many offspring with universal access to weapons. According to Temat.pl, Mentzen in his introduction wrote that Hoga's views are "absolutely unacceptable in the modern world", but praised him as a friend.

His attitude to the function of women is controversial. According to TVN24, Hoga stated that "the introduction of women into the labour marketplace is demeaning their femininity". In a video on YouTube, quoted on Temat.pl, he said that “the first half hr after the husband's return from work home is sacred”, suggesting that a female should not then affect her husband in home matters. On X, he wrote that “the laziness and cowardice of women led to a demographic collapse.” In another recording, quoted on Temat.pl, he stated that women's athletics "receives delicacy".

The problem of Poland is not feminists, but "conservative" ladies. They forgot that motherhood is the main function of women. No 1 can replace them.
Their laziness and cowardice led to a demographic collapse and the extinction of the nation.

Imagine what Poland would look like...

His attitude toward raising children besides angers him. As reported on Temat.pl, Hoga told an anecdote about a student who was beaten up by his parents, and he, as a teacher, “helped them not to choice on anyone.” The story, portrayed in a humorous tone, met with criticism. Left MP Dariusz Wieczorek commented: “God defend us against specified a candidate and specified a head of the BBN.”

Jacek Hoga, Mentzen's advisor, shares an anecdote from erstwhile he was a class educator.

Views of Defence and Geopolitics

Hoga criticizes NATO, pointing to the industrial and cultural crisis. As the “Gazeta Wyborcza” reports, in the Polonia Christian programme in 2023 he stated that “the NATO armies are a shadow of themselves.” According to OKO.press, in 2022 he wrote on X that the alliance of Poland, Ukraine and the United Kingdom was a "union of NATO" before helping Poland in case of conflict.

His statements about Russia are controversial. According to OKO.press, in 2021 he said that "no Russian option in Poland is simply a large tragedy", although he pointed out that he did not support any abroad option. He praised Turkey as a model for Poland. In the March 2025 X video, he proposed a pilot program of compulsory military service, criticizing the current military as "pseudozvod". He opposes the European Army, claiming that it would be “a device for treating Poles.”

Who's Jacek Hoga?

Hoga was associated with Grzegorz Braun, the National Movement and monarchist organizations. He ran for election from the list of the Polish household League and the Korwin-Mikke party. In Catholic media, he introduced himself as a sports shooter, historical fencing coach and hunter. It is now referred to as a military historian, although OKO.press states that the military only associate it with the Ad Arma Foundation.

Mentzen in Channel Zero praised Hoga, saying, “He is my friend, valued by many generals.” Krzysztof Bosak, leader of the Confederate, defended Hogi in a post on X as a "competent activist for the right to arms", but distanced himself from his social views, writing, "We do not support all his opinions, but we value his commitment." The OKO.press, however, indicates that the military do not associate Hoga with the army.

Reactions and controversy

Hoga’s statements met with widespread criticism. OKO.press portals, “Gazeta Wyborcza” and TVN24 item his extremist views and deficiency of experience in the professional army. Left MP Dariusz Wieczorek expressed concerns about Hoga as a possible head of the National safety Bureau. On the another hand, Hoga enjoys the support of any right-wing environments. Its activity on the platform

X, where it is watched by over 8,000 people, includes comments on topics ranging from education to politics.

A Counselor with extremist Views

Jacek Hoga is simply a figure combining social ultraconservativeism, libertarian approach to arms possession and controversial geopolitical opinions. As an advisor to Sławomir Mentzen, he is both curious and anxious. His imagination of Poland as a country with universal access to weapons, a conventional model of the household and greater global independency is consistent with the ideology of the Confederation, but far from the mainstream public debate. Would Hoga, with his extremist views and deficiency of experience in the army, be a suitable candidate for head of the BBN? This question remains open, but his statements and activities of the Ad Arma Foundation will surely be debated during the election campaign.
