Russian business aviation was to be cut off from Western spare parts, method documentation and authorized service. The sanctions were besides expected to hit private jets of Kremlin people, oligarchs and safety officials. However, this did not happen. The planes of the Russian elite proceed to fly due to the fact that the cut-off from the West has not eliminated the network of intermediaries and companies from 3rd countries that supply access to parts, documentation and service.
