The Slovaks have elected a fresh president. It is the leader of the Hlas party, Peter Pellegrini. In the second round, he defeated the erstwhile Slovak abroad minister, Ivan Korcok, and replaced Zuzana Caputova as president. The triumph of Prime Minister Robert Fico's political ally may form Slovak politics for years to come. What will it look like in relation to Polish, the European Union and NATO?
