The update of the Polish atomic energy programme will be published next week. The second power plant will stand in the coal region, the selection will be earliest next year - said "DGP" Deputy Minister of manufacture Wojciech Wrochna.
"We want the second power plant to respond much more to the challenges of transformation and bring an crucial social component. Therefore, it will be established in the coal region. We have 4 options: 2 basic are Belchats and Koninand 2 additional – Kozienice and the Messenger" - indicated Deputy Minister of Industry, a typical of the government for strategical energy infrastructure, in an interview published on Thursday in the diary of Legal Gazeta.
"The final location will match the selected technology, in agreement with the partner, whom we will point to the implementation of this project" - added Deputy Minister. (PAP)
