After the outbreak of the full-scale war in Ukraine, Poland decided to accelerate and grow the acquisition of equipment for the military. In the first stage, abroad contracts were utilized to a large degree due to the pace of deliveries. At the same time, it is planned to increase home production of equipment, both through its own improvement (e.g. Borsuk IFVs) and through licensing agreements (e.g. K2PL tanks). However, in order to accomplish this assumption, it is essential to recapitalize the defence manufacture plants, due to the fact that they have not produced on specified a large scale for years. So they request funds to invest and build capacity.
