Starting from the first weeks of fighting in Ukraine, Russia fired many ballistic missiles and maneuvering missiles at the invaded country, not counting what Russian barrel and rocket artillery was spewing. These missiles, valued at between a fewer million dollars per copy, frequently hit civilian targets, not contributing to the Russian victory, but only wreaking unnecessary death. They were (and are) so much more dangerous than rocket artillery that the Russians can with their aid endanger not only the front region and the cities located in its hinterland, but virtually all Ukrainian cities. In another words, apart from typically operational characteristics, they are tools of panic and a message to Ukrainians: no 1 can be certain of next day with you.
