Karol Nawrocki, a candidate for the office of President, stressed during a gathering with the Belarusian residents that he had a circumstantial action plan. During the speech he referred to the controversial free trade agreement between the European Union and the Mercosur States, declaring his opposition to its provisions. He besides announced that the detailed programme would be presented in February 2025.

During the gathering in Białobrzeg on 12 December 2024, Karol Nawrocki expressed his position on problems that rise concern among Polish farmers. Referring to the European Union's agreement with Mercosur, he talked about its possible impact on the situation in Poland.
Let me be clear: I am against agreements like the EU agreement with the Mercosur countries. And the Polish farmer is our national good and all decision I make, all signed bill will mention to what the Polish farmer feels on the 1 hand, the Polish entrepreneur on the another hand and what the Poles think."
The agreement, which was concluded last week, according to critics, does not address key issues. It does not contain provisions requiring importers to meet European standards, specified as animal welfare or the prohibition of certain hormones. Poland expressed its position against signing the agreement.

Mid-February Action Plan
During the speech, Karol Nawrocki announced that his detailed action plan would most likely be presented in mid-February 2025. As he stressed, this is the consequence of cooperation with experts and analysis of the needs of different social groups.
Nawrocki wants his programme to be a concrete consequence to the challenges facing Poland, including the problems that may affect Polish agriculture as a consequence of the signing of global trade agreements.
