Bloomberg previously reported that the Chinese were having talks about the possible sale of the TikTok app. It was unofficially indicated that a possible buyer could be Elon Musk.
The billionaire first spoke on the possible acquisition of the platform at a conference in Germany, which was organised by Mathias Doepfner, billionaire, CEO of the German media conglomerate AxelSpringer.
— I did not offer to buy TikTok, said Elon Musk, who attended the conference remotely. He added that there were no plans to make specified an offer either. “I do not personally usage TikTok either,” he said.
