What is the SAFE program and why is Poland in the second group? We explain

Poland has been placed in the second group of countries whose applications for arms backing under the SAFE program will be approved by the European Commission. The main reason why we didn't make it into group 1 is the comprehensiveness of the Polish plan. Poland is the largest beneficiary of this EU instrument and is expected to receive backing of 43.7 billion euros.
