Poland is part of a second group of countries whose applications for arms backing under the SAFE programme will be approved by the European Commission. The main reason why we did not go to the first group is the scope of the Polish plan. Poland is the largest beneficiary of this EU instrument and is expected to receive a grant of EUR 43.7 billion.
