Colonel Marek Pietrzak emphasizes that quite a few people apply to specialist courses. – Letters for medical training, cybersecurity and endurance are already filled with more than 50%. However, about 31% of the seats are presently occupied for safety courses, but it should be noted that volunteers have more time to choose from, says the officer.

Of the over 9,000 people who have already signed up, 600 are young people aged 13-17. Only adult legal guardians could study them, who had to take part in training with them.

The programme is aimed at Polish citizens aged at least 13 years. It includes 4 one-day training (up to 8 hours): safety, first aid, endurance and cyberhygiene. Each associate may participate in all parts of the training. ‘inReady’ is part of a broad programme building reserves of the Polish Army. As the General Staff points out, the results of the evaluation survey conducted among participants in the November pilotage show a very strong interest in the service – mainly territorial military service – over 30% of respondents declared their willingness to take it.

The SGWP spokesperson recalls that all citizen has a function to play in defending the country, regardless of whether he wears a uniform and a weapon or supports the safety of his cognition and skills.
