On Monday at Washington Capitol, the police arrested over 60 veterans and members of their families in connection with a protest against the war with Iran.

They stood in 1 of the offices at a legislature with red tulips to commemorate the Iranians killed as a consequence of the US attacks. Veterans besides brought banners with the inscription “End the war with Iran” and “We cannot afford another war”. They conducted a flag-bearing ceremony to symbolize the 13 American soldiers who died in the current war. They stood on defender in uniform and chanted anti-war slogans until the police restrained them. The demonstrators were removed from the Capitol.
The CCW announced that protesters demanded a gathering with home talker Mike Johnson to collect the folded flag. They wanted to oblige congressmen to halt backing the war, which began on 28 February with the joint raids of the Israeli and United States troops.
Among the detainees was CCW Executive manager Mike Prysner, a veteran of the Iraq War, who indicated that the current conflict is "already profoundly unpopular" and causes a "crisis for Trump administration".
"The war I was sent to took the lives of thousands of Americans and a million Iraqis. Like the another veterans who are here with me today, I have spent the last 2 decades dreaming of going back and refusing to leave. Soldiers have this chance right now. – declared Prysner before he was arrested. The man recalled that soldiers have the right and should benefit from opposition to conscience. He added that his organization has professional advisors who "will fight to get consent and not let him to leave".
Tyler Romero, who uses the CCW's help, addressed the current soldiers: – My advice to the soldiers who proceed to service is this: this is the most crucial historical minute in our lives and what you decide to do matters. In my experience, further support for the war device will only bring you more suffering.
Wednesday, the two-week ceasefire between the US, Israel and Iran expires. president Trump doesn't want to prolong it. He called upon Iran to sign an agreement with Washington that would prevent Tehran from having atomic weapons. Trump threatened that if he refused, “the full country would be blown up.”
The chances of an agreement between the US and Iran are "low". At least that's what Aaron David Miller, a elder investigator at the Carnegie Endowment for global Peace, points out. He points out that there is no trust between the 2 countries.
Israel has already taken action to prolong or even escalate the war, launching an extended military operation in Lebanon under the pretext of fighting Tehran-Hezbollah's sidekick.
By May 1, however, the president of the United States should receive approval from the legislature to carry out military activities towards Iran. If the congressmen neglect to adopt a resolution on war powers, the American war should be discontinued immediately. Trump must either put forward arguments for the fact that the withdrawal of US forces from the region requires more time, or ask the legislature to agree to proceed the conflict.
– This war of choice is simply a reckless and costly war that has been started without any plan, purpose, exit strategy, public support and consent of the United States Congress – Last week, the leader of the number in the Hakeem Jeffries home of Representatives argued during the debate on the war power resolution.
Representative Brian Mast, president of the abroad Affairs Committee of the home of Representatives, argues that the debate on war powers is simply a "pure politician" of democrats, and it would be a mistake to "order the military to end war, conflict, conflict or anything else".
