Release of political prisoners
After the US military detained Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro and began political change in the country, between January 8 and Saturday evening the fresh authorities released 139 people considered to be political prisoners. Previously, the Foro Penal human rights organization reported that more than 800 were present in Venezuelan prisons. This group besides included a Polish citizen, who besides had Ukrainian citizenship.
The Ministry of abroad Affairs besides stated in its Communication that it saw the openness signalled by the fresh authorities in Caracas to strengthen cooperation with the European Union and the United States. As ensured by:

Polish citizen will return to the country
As the spokesperson for the Ministry of abroad Affairs Maciej Wiór told PAP:
Our countryman is fine. His precedence is to meet his household as shortly as possible
A spokesperson for the Ministry of abroad Affairs informed that thanks to close cooperation with partners from the Czech Republic, the freed Polish citizen had already reached Europe. He besides reported that he was to leave Prague for the country within respective hours, as the ministry reported on Sunday late in the evening.
Attack on Venezuela
On the morning of 3 January the United States armed forces carried out on the territory Venezuela's series of attacks aimed at stopping Nicolas Maduro. The politician and his spouse were then transferred to the state of fresh York, where court proceedings shortly began, including allegations of drug trafficking and terrorism. According to Foro Penal, more than 18.6 1000 people have been detained since Maduro took power in 2013 throughout the country for political reasons.
