Hungary "exempted from sanctions". Media: Trump wants to aid Orban win the election

Contrary to the statements of Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Hungary was not "indefinitely" excluded from US sanctions, but only for a year - Reuters said, citing the White House. BBC, Euronews and AFP say Trump did it to support Orban before the 2026 election. The head of the Hungarian MFA denies it.
