Hungary: Voting completed in parliamentary elections

Today, at 7 p.m., the venues in the Hungarian parliamentary elections were closed. Those who were already on queues before the election was officially concluded will have the chance to vote.

The announcement of the first partial results is expected at around 8:00 p.m.

Due to the threat of bombing, the vote in the Hungarian parliamentary elections was interrupted in 1 of the locations in Miskolc in the north-east and in the Pech territory in the south of the country – the local media reported.

The police in Miskolec received an anonymous telephone call, then immediately interrupted the vote, and the premises were searched. No explosives were found. After a twenty-minute break, the vote resumed, reported the paper “Nepszava”.

In Pecz, too, the threat was sent by phone, which forced the closing of the election premises for a fewer minutes. besides in this case, no signs of charges were found, and the vote resumed.
