The polls published in Hungary on Wednesday uncover that more people – regardless of their electoral preferences – anticipate Sunday parliamentary elections to win the opposition TISZA party.

The Iranite Institute noted that although in February most of the respondents expected Fidesz to win, in the latest survey 43% of the respondents believed that the Sunday election would win TISZA; 40% pointed to Fidesz.

According to the survey, the TISZA organization led by Peter Magyar enjoys the support of 41 percent of the general public and the Fidesz group of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán – 34 percent. No another organization exceeded the 5% electoral threshold in the survey. Among the voters declared TISZA gained 51 percent support and Fidesz – 40 percent.
