I came here to win," said Viktor Orban, Prime Minister of Hungary, today, after giving his vote in Budapest. He assured that he would "respect the decision of the Hungarian people".

– I met many people during the run and thank each voter for listening to me and allowing me to present my arguments," said the Prime Minister in consequence to questions from journalists after giving the floor.

The vote began at 6 p.m. and will last until 7 p.m. Hungarian electoral law does not supply for vote silence. The run continues until the polling stations are closed. On the day of the vote, however, there is simply a ban on political agitation up to 150 metres from the polling stations.
