In November, our Club took part in 5 events. The most crucial of them are the March of independency in Warsaw and organized by us to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the death of the last NSZ “Bartka” forest troops – Jan Filary and Władysław Szczotka.
They took place in the hall at the parish church in Kamesznica (change due to the winter aura) and in the cemetery and a week earlier on Cumówki, the crime scene. More than 30 participants, including the closest household of Władysław (daughter and son, grandson and granddaughter, 4 great-grandsons and 1 great-great-grandson) and the typical of the household of John, as well as priest parish priest and Klubowicz, saw a moving presentation (35 slides) prepared by us about the heroes and received a brochure, which extended the cognition of them. Together, we prayed for Homeland, the Prayer of the Unbreakable Soldiers, and the Crown of Divine Mercy in the intention of the heroes, and put together a bundle and lit candles on the grave of “Orlik” in Kamesznica.
We received thanks from the families of heroes and from the NSZ 7th Silesian territory Soldiers' household Association for “a beautiful and touching initiative”.
On November 15, we lit a niche on the Kurhana of National Memory in Matyska (Golgot of Beskids) on behalf of the “Gazeta Polska” Clubs.
On November 16, we were at the Cumovki close the home where the Brush and Pillar were shot and at the plaque dedicated to them from the series “Bartka”. There we left flowers and we fastened a card, testifying that the “Polish Newspaper” Clubs remember the heroes.
On 20 November we took part in a gathering with Robert Bąkiewicz in Żywiec organized by the “Gazeta Polska” Jelesnia Club.
On November 21, in Milówka, we listened to a talk by Tomasz Greniuch “From the past of the Milówka underground. Hunting in Prussia in December 1945". Dr. T. Greniuch examines the complicated past of NSZ soldiers in Żywieccza, seeking fresh witnesses, is the author of books, among others. Christ for us, we for Christ and books about our heroes: Threatened. The last soldiers. First traitors.
