The humanitarian crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border has been going on since July 2021, unfortunately nothing announces its end. As part of the grant received from the Ikano Group, we have decided to support volunteers who supply humanitarian aid to those in request of it. Artur-Nowak Gocławski president of our foundation met with representatives of POPH in Białowieża and handed them 2 ground vehicles. In this way, volunteers will scope out to the people trapped in the woods and aid them.
The acquisition of 1 of the cars was possible thanks to a grant from Ikano Bank. This vehicle was donated in a gift to the Foundation We are free to work with people who aid on the Polish-Belarusian border. The second vehicle, which had previously served in Ukraine, was handed over to volunteers in usage for 6 months. In addition to field vehicles, we besides provided financial support to volunteers who frequently quit their employment in order to supply assistance.
On behalf of the Podlaski Volunteer Ambulance, they picked up: Eliza Kowalczyk, Man of the Forest, Agnieszka Gryz and Piotr Chaban. It is crucial that we remember that despite differences and conflicts, we are all people. And if it's possible, you request help.
