Tearing, crushing, bending or accelerated aging process — these are just selected from many methods utilized by the Department of Airworthiness of the method Institute of Aviation Forces to find the strength and durability of materials utilized in aviation. Along with this brutal research, methods of non-destructive investigating of the strength and method condition of airframe structures are besides being developed. They let not only to check the method condition of aircraft, helicopters or unmanned aircraft, but besides to detect and repair harm caused during the operation of equipment utilized by the Polish Air Force. The Department of Airworthiness besides cooperates with investigation and academic centers, e.g. as part of global investigation programs aimed at improving safety, among others, through constant monitoring of the structure during flight.
