At an express pace, the Sejm adopted a bill providing for in vitro method funding. The bill will now go to the Senate, after which we anticipate the same. That is why we are already calling on president Andrzej Duda to veto it. Let us ask for the destiny of children who die and are frozen under this procedure.

The bill providing for PLN 500 million to be allocated to the financing of the in vitro procedure was the first to be dealt with by the recently elected Parliament. With large sadness, we have observed the debate on it in the Sejm and the media. The answer to the substantive allegations against in vitro was only emotional blackmail. The bill was voted by the votes of KO, Poland 2050, PSL and Left – it was supported by all MPs of these clubs who took part in the vote. The legislature will take care of her now, but we have no illusions that the politicians of these parties in the legislature will behave differently. That is why we want to appeal to president Andrzej Duda for veto.
Propaganda of advocates in vitro and emotional blackmail are so strong that even many people who respect human life have succumbed. He was given part of the PiS in the Sejm, which besides supported the draft or abstained in the vote (72 of 191 MPs). We hope that president Andrzej Duda will not fall. Through our appeal, we want to give him the courage to stand up for human life and dignity.
In the petition, we pay attention to arguments against in vitro. We'll take the liberty of reciting them.
In Poland the law permits the production of up to six embryos within 1 cycle in vitro. 1 or 2 transfer to the womb and the remainder freeze. The selection, which the conceived people have the chance to make and which they freeze, is eugenic: people are chosen to be the most promising, and those weaker ones are sentenced to a circumstantial suspension. Many of the frozen people will never be given a chance to develop. The last wellness Minister study of 2021 showed that between 2017 and 2020 the number of embryos stored doubled. By the end of 2020, there were over 120 000 already.
In vitro procedures not only affect human selection and freezing, but besides contribute to the death of many. any of the embryos created already at the start do not make properly, and most of those that are transferred to the woman's body besides die. According to the Ministry of wellness in Poland in 2020, 38% of the embryos transferred were yet born. Supporters in vitro rise the counterargument that natural embryos besides die in the process. But there's a difference between a natural process and a human process. We'll all die someday, but that doesn't entitle anyone to take action that can origin our death.
Funding the in vitro method from your budget will mean that more people will scope for it and as a consequence more children will die or be frozen.
We besides point out that in vitro backing will besides mean that people who are most ethically opposed to the procedure that involves the death and freezing of people at the earliest phase of improvement will besides should be involved.
