We are incapable to vote in local elections

Elections again. The streets are plastered, advertising poles wrapped in uniforms from election posters like a mighty onion. The electoral marathon is gaining speed, but our cognition of who we are actually voting for is truly slim. After all, here, and here, they give out tickets, and here, and here we vote for a party, and not for an individual, and after all, anyway...
