Developed by the Aselsan concern, the system, frequently referred to in the media as a competitor to Russia's Pancyr, is simply a reasonably fresh design, which was shown for the first time [at IDEF 2023](https://defence24.pl/przemysl/czesko-turecka-sona-zaprezentowana). It is an evolution of the well-known Korkut 100/35 SB anti-aircraft artillery set, which has received additional effectors, sensors and improved software and functionality.
