The event began with a slight delay. After the entrance of Karol Nawrocki 1 could hear the shouts "Karol, Karol, Karol". After the National Assembly was opened by the talker of the Sejm Simon Holovnia and the talker of the legislature of Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska and welcoming guests, Karol Nawrocki took an oath.

“The Republic of Poland is present the common good of all citizens, and the superior authority in the Republic of Poland is the nation, so I welcome the Polish people within the borders of the Republic of Poland and beyond the borders of the Republic of Poland.”
And he continued, "Thank you all for your votes, for your support. Thank you, too, ladies and gentlemen, to those who did not vote for me and who took part in this democratic electoral act in connection with the celebration of our democracy on 1 June.
Karol Nawrocki then turned to the assembled: "Free choice, free nation put me before you today. He put me before you against electoral propaganda, lies, against political theatre and against contempt, which I met on the way to the office of president of the Republic of Poland."
He added that as a Christian he forgave "from the bottom of his heart forgives all this contempt and what happened during the election."
