During the Eurosatory GROUP fair, WB signed an agreement with Thales Group to extend the arms package of distant control tower systems ZMU-03/05. As part of Polish-Belgian cooperation, equipped with device guns, unmanned ZMU-03/05 towers can be integrated into guided and unguided rocket launchers.

On June 18, during the largest defence manufacture fair in Europe in Paris, an agreement was signed between AREX and WB Electronics, which are part of the WB Group and Thales Belgium and Thales Polska (part of Thales Group) concerning the anticipation of extending the arms package of unmanned light towers ZMU-03/05.

ZMU is simply a household of remote-controlled tower systems developed by AREX with 5.56 to 40 mm caliber. The Polish solution is characterized by modular design. It facilitates servicing, fast repairs and modernization. Unmanned towers can be armed with rifles and device grenade launchers and automatic cannons.

Remotely controlled WB tower systems separate low mass, allowing the usage of ZMU even on light vehicles, including wheeled and caterpillar robotic platforms. The unmanned towers of the Gdynia company AREX are equipped with dual stabilization systems, both weapons and reflection heads.

The agreement between the WB Group and Thales Group will enable the integration of guided and undirected rocket launchers into Polish tower systems. specified remotely controlled ZMU-03/05 will let to combat a wider spectrum of land, sea and air targets at a greater distance.
