According to Reuters' reports, General Keith Kellogg, a peculiar U.S. President's envoy for Russia and Ukraine, is to resign from his post in January. Kellogg was seen as a key ally of Ukraine surrounded by Donald Trump, especially during a period of tensions in relations between Washington and Kiev, which intensified after a severe conflict between Trump and Zelenski in February of that year.

Reuters stressed that Kellogg was much harsher than another U.S. government officials criticized Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure.
