The future of Poland outside the EU?
In a conversation on Radio ZET Michał Wawer addressed the issue of Poland's membership of the European Union, stressing that the Confederation looks at the community with a distance. He admitted that in the future it is possible to consider Poland's exit from the EU if the country is ready for this.
He besides recalled that a fewer years ago, together with Mrs Anna Bryłka, they developed a paper entitled "PolExit – Safe emergency exit", which aimed to prepare for the anticipation of leaving the Union. According to Wawra, Poland should be restoring competence in areas that have been under the EU for 2 decades.
Mr Wawer besides pointed out that the possible exit of Poland from the European Union depends on the situation in the EU itself and the pace of Poland's preparations. He stressed that the country should be ready to be able to break up the Union, which he considered to be a viable scenario. Wawer pointed out that there might be situations in which Poland would not agree to the imposed decisions. He besides mentioned the anticipation of creating a fresh trade block with the countries of the erstwhile EU, suggesting that there are many different options for the future.
Obstruction of Poland's exit from the Union
However, leaving the European Union by Poland may not be as easy as it seems. In February, the Sejm received a draft amendment of the global Contracts Act prepared by Polish MEPs 2050.
In line with the proposal to let Poland to leave the European Union, 2 national referendums would be necessary. Marshal of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia announced that he would make a bill that would complicate the action which would consist of Poland leaving the European Union.
Wawer v. immigrants
A fewer days earlier, Michał Wawer in the Sunday program Radio ZET noted that during the last session of the Sejm there were crucial events, but the fight between Kaczyński and Gierty was not 1 of them. The MP recalled that the majority of the Sejm accepted the amendment of the Foreigners Act.
This bill implements the EU Blue Card program, which is another gateway for mass migration to Poland, and nobody is curious in it, due to the fact that the full focus is on how Gierty imposed Kaczyński and Kaczyński on Gierty – assessed the Confederate policies.
