No more flat-rate garbage charges? The government has just adopted a proposal to amend the alleged Cleanse Act, which will completely change the rules on waste accounting. Municipalities will be able to differentiate rates on the basis of waste weight and segregation quality. This is intended to increase the efficiency and justice of the system, and to encourage us to more accurately segregate.
