Was Tadeusz Kościuszko a freelour? Brother Emil Kip wrote about him: “...the masonry belongs to the summertime of 1779. He never lacks his name erstwhile it comes to the Masonic surroundings of Washington, and the last historian in the American Revolution – Sidney Morse, simply calls Kościuszko a brother.”
