The Russians are in the world's perception of fatalists, centuries of disasters on them have shaped them in resilience to failures and even waiting for them, ready.

Only individual who doesn't know Russia will argue that the greater force applied to this country will origin the Russians to succumb. This dream, the founding story of modern Russia is the triumph of the country's war, its foundation was the will to fight despite the humiliation and Nazi annihilation.

On Russia, the only meaningful instrument of influence was their complex deficiency of full belonging to European culture, hence specified a fondness for the material attributes of this culture, luxury cars, costly perfumes, European-style life. And that is in my opinion the core of the knowing of Russia that they do not realize in the west. The duality of the Russian soul causes that we do not know which part dominates today. A violent descendant of the orda, or a romanticist Slav reciting Pushkin.

Russia is simply a country that was to die many times, the possible of another death scares them little than humiliation. You can't beat a man with a atomic weapon due to the fact that an atom is simply a weapon of a state against a wall.
