Warsaw conflict 1944 – I was right

For respective years I have published articles on the unfortunate Warsaw scandal, in which I present conclusions based on independent historical research. The answer is most frequently emotional polemics washed out of cognition and factography, but it is saturated with noisy denials, confabulations and average human hatred of people who have no thought of the events they praise with specified animus. Let us look at what Norbert Bączyk, a prominent expert in military activities over the mediate Vistula (talk with Piotr Zychowicz [in:]) “Poles. Stories politically incorrect. Part VII’, Warsaw 2026).

Myth 1: The uprising must have erupted. fact or false?

NB: False. The uprising didn't gotta explode. If there had not been an order from the Home Army, there would have been no uprising. The uprising is not a revolution, not a spontaneous revelry of civilians who, under the influence of temporary emotion or a desire for revenge, break into battle. The uprising is simply a military action. On command or not at all. delight note that the uprising did not erupt in Krakow, Radom or in many another cities. [...] It is hard for the uprising to erupt by itself, since people had no weapons.

Myth 3: Did the Warsaw uprising prevent Poland from joining the russian Union as the seventeenth republic?

NB: Nope. Whether the uprising broke out or not, our country's past would have been the same. The uprising was of no importance to the current policy. [...] That was the decision of the large powers, especially president Roosevelt.

Myth 4: The uprising was choked in 1944, but it won in 1989. Without the uprising there would be no III of the Polish Republic.

NB: She would be. The Warsaw Uprising had no direct impact on the events of 1989. Our freedom is the consequence of the dissolution of the russian bloc – the decisive influence, leading to its collapse, had processes going on inside the USSR.

Myth 5: Did the Soviets truly halt the large offensive on the Vistula line to get bled out by the uprising?

NB: That's not true. I've been investigating this issue for over 20 years, due to the fact that it's my basic subject in military history. [...]. The front in Poland in 1944, especially in Mazowsze, is my absolute horse. Stopping it is 1 of the 2 largest Polish myths of the 20th century concerning planet War II. 1 speaks of the cold-calculated betrayal by the West in 1939, the another of the detainees at the command of Stalin's armies over the Vistula. [...] I have examined German and Russian archives for this, and I can say with full work that the Red Army did not receive an order in the summertime of 1944: “Stop!” Not much, she was trying to get the Polish capital all the time.

Then why didn't she?

Because Germany didn't let it. The Germans were dead – only on the first section of the 1st Belarusian Front, which invaded Mazowsze, and only in August – almost 30,000 Red Army soldiers. And they sent another 80,000 back to the lazarets. On the prefields of Warsaw at the turn of July and August a large conflict of armor was fought, I call it in my publications the conflict of Okuniev, which resulted in the Germans rejecting russian troops. And then the Russians tried again and again. They made 7 storms, in dense battles of the dreptals slow forward [...] The dense fighting on this section of the front continued throughout August and all September, and then again in October 1944.

Myth 9: What were the real German losses? To this day, any repeat the number of nearly 20,000 Germans who died, which is common in PRL literature.

NB: 3,000 dead and about 10–12,000 wounded. [...] In 1947, von dem Bach's evidence was simply fabricated, in which he was to state that the Germans had 17,000 dead and missing and 9,000 wounded. [...] The Warsaw Uprising was not a precedence for Germany. They were stifled by waste, if you'll excuse me. Collection of various units, frequently second category. From the position of the Germans, it was a police operation and only due to the fact that the uprising lasted so long.

Myth 10: In Poland it is popular to think that Germany (who pacified this uprising) and the officers of the Home Army (who caused it) were not liable for the defeat of the Warsaw Uprising, but the Western allies who did not aid this uprising.

NB: Ten story is besides false. You can't blame the Anglo-Saxons for the failure of the uprising, due to the fact that the West was telling us the open text: you are in the Red Army's operating zone, so if you want to take any action, make a deal with Moscow. We can't aid you due to the fact that we don't have the means. The AK commanders ignored these warnings. erstwhile the uprising broke out, radiograms were coming to London from Warsaw: drop General Sosabowski's Paradox Brigade on Kampinoska Forest. Meanwhile, for over six months, London has been telling AK commanders that they will not get any brigades. At the time there was no method anticipation to execute specified a landing operation. Allied troops were just besides far from Poland. The West so raises no work for the insurgent defeat. He did not insist on this uprising, he did not encourage Poles. It was a stand-alone decision made by the Home Army.

Myths No. 2 (The decision to initiate the uprising in both the Home Army and Polish London was unanimously decided), 6 (General Berling rebelled against Stalin and threw a landing on the western side of the Vistula on his own to save the uprising), 7 (Did the Germans fight on the German side of the insurgent Warsaw?) and 8 (Are the insurgents truly having “Visas on Tigers”) little important, I dealt with them in the process of discussing another topics, but besides in these areas the findings of Mr Bązyk are akin to mine.
