This weekend there were 260 000 people on the streets of little than 10 million Israel. It was half a million a week ago. Protesters request the rejection of a package of laws whose entry into force would mean the end of democracy in Israel. However, the script in which the far right government meets the demands of the protesters seems unlikely. Is Israel in danger of civilian war?
