The hand-to-hand fight, the crossing of fitness tracks, the march to orientation or the moving of shooting competitions are only any of the elements of specialist training from physical education and athletics organized from 29 September to 24 October at the Training Centre of the Territorial Defence Forces.
“Because of the nature of the service it is the work of each soldier to take care of his physical fitness. What is crucial in the Polish Army we have many present and erstwhile Olympians and athletes from various fields of athletics who decided to put on a uniform and start their service in this formation. I erstwhile faced specified a decision, and present I have the chance to share the experience gained with subordinate soldiers." - said Lt Bartłomiej Pawełczak, CSWOT soldier, silver medalist of the Beijing Olympics.
Maintaining good physical fitness of subordinate soldiers has always been 1 of the key tasks of Military Units commanders. respective twelve soldiers from various Territorial Defence Brigades and operational troops from all over the country took part in the training prepared by CSWOT on a monthly basis. Importantly, the training was judged by the students as requiring advanced physical fitness, strength and determination.
"Even though I practice almost all day were moments where the strength of the activities was felt. In my opinion, the training was excellent, and the instructors were very experienced and were experts in the fields of athletics that they were conducting. Now is the time erstwhile we will be liable for the physical fitness of the next soldiers in our units," added 1 of the students.
After completing the course and returning to their native Military Units, the soldiers were given the chance to conduct physical education and sports classes as well as to conduct yearly fitness examinations.
