Košiceis the second largest city in Slovakia with a rich past of centuries. Košice Poles are mainly associated with the “Košice Privilege” of September 17, 1374, which partially restricted the king's power for the noble state, and at the same time opened the Jadwidzenie Andegawenska way to the Polish crown, and, as past has shown, set the way to holiness.

In most economical statistic Slovakia ranks among the poorest countries of the European Union. Eurostat's GDP per capita for the year 2023, expressed in accordance with purchasing power standards, puts Slovakia in 4th place in the EU from the end. The Slovak economy is being digested by the euro. For an hr of parking in the centre of Košice you must pay as much as 3 euros (approx. 13 zł). In comparison, in the costly Warsaw, the first hr of parking costs 4.5 PLN. 1 Slovak told me that the current government of Prime Minister Robert Fico would be willing to join Slovakia in Russia if Ukraine was not an obstacle, which is presently separating these 2 countries.
What country is Slovakia, then? Where's he headed? The answer to this question can be found in the centre of Košice, on Hlavne Street, or in Polish Main Street. On the facade of 1 of the buildings is simply a table shown in the following picture:

Eternal glory to the murdered, martyrs and persecuted in the fight against communism
1945 – 1989
And on this board individual wrote a handwritten year 2015, indicating that in Slovakia the fight against communism did not end in 1989, that it continued after 1989, or even continues to this day. This shows how akin the destiny of the countries of Central and east Europe is, how akin the feelings of Slovaks and Poles are. In Poland the fight against communism did not end in 1989, due to the fact that in 1989 communism did not end in Poland. Communism continues. It can be said that there are only periods erstwhile it is allowed to say that communism was and is allowed to commemorate its victims. And there are times erstwhile you can't even say that communism was, and all the more so due to the fact that it is, and that it continues.
What, then, is communism if it continues? Communism is the emanation of evil. And evil has been since the dawn of history, and it inactive is. There were only periods in past erstwhile it was allowed to say that there was evil. And the victims of evil could be commemorated. But then there were periods erstwhile it was forbidden to say that there was evil, and even more so to say that evil was. any of these periods are called white spots in history. White, due to the fact that evil was whitened, and even evil was called good. At specified times, it is hard even to win evil with good, due to the fact that it is no longer known what is good or evil. We were respective years old in Poland erstwhile – as in Slovakia – the victims of communism were allowed to be commemorated. Memorize the murdered and persecuted in the fight against communism from 1945 to 1989. What date will we gotta add to our Polish memorial plates? And will we do it like in Košice, by hand, under the cover of the night, in the tide of momentary courage? Or will we yet cast off the yoke of communism? But if communism is the emanation of evil, can Poles shed the yoke of evil? possibly not as much as they want.
Mr Bogdan
